Have you recently read a story and thought "Man, I wish more people knew about this story, it is amazing." Well, here is your chance to help out a fellow author and their amazing story!

I'm looking for the best of the best at HPFF, the stories that are so good they make you cry, laugh and shout all at the same time. But, they are lacking on the reviews!

To nominate a story, please follow our guidelines:

-Stories can be of any rating, any pairing, any warnings.
-Stories may be one shots, novella, novels, song fics etc.
-The Author of the Story you nominate MUST be active either on the forums or on the archive in the last 6 months. This is to ensure contact with the author in the event of interviews or other author contact.
-Stories must have less than 20 reviews PER CHAPTER. That's not less than 20 total for chaptered fics. Any one chapter must have LESS than 20 reviews.
-No Dobby award winners, please.
-If you see a Story in the list that has already been nominated and you would also like to nominate it, please state "I second [name of story] by [author]" so I know it's highly in demand.
-Please do not nominate your own story.

Note: PLEASE Check the masterlist before requesting a story to see if it has been added. All stories have been alphabetized by name.
Please fill out the following form:

Story Name:
Author Name:
Story Link: {title here}
Genre:
Length:
Ships:
Rating (and applicable warnings):
Story Summary:
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized:

Thank you :)

Story Name: A Witch Named Bellatrix: Into The Mists
Author Name: Nitenel
Story Link: A witch Named Bellatrix: Into the Mists (15+)
Genre: General, Action/Adventure, AU
Length: Short Story- Four Chapters
Ships: Other
Rating (and applicable warnings): 15+ Mild Language, Mild Violence, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme
Story Summary: Sequel to A Witch Named Bellatrix Bellatrix turned good? What will the Order have to say about this?
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized I think it deserves to be recognized because you don't see many stories like this on the archives, and it doesn't have the amount of reviews that it should.

EDIT: Um, yeah this story apparently doesn't exist anymore, so yeah. Sorry about that.

Story Name: The Deepest Scars
Author Name: hedwidgeon
Story Link: The Deepest Scars[15+]
Genre: Drama, Horror/Dark, Action/Adventure
Length: 3796 words, one-shot
Ships: none
Rating (and applicable warnings): 15+ (Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme)
Story Summary: Hey – hey, Harry, there are brains in here, ha ha ha, isn’t that weird, Harry? And he’s interrupting me, doesn’t care – Ron, get out of the way, get down – Or he doesn’t believe me, I’ll show him now, I’ve got my wand – Honest, Harry, they’re brains – look – Accio Brain!
Follow Ron as he is trapped first in his own mind, and then in someone else's. Laughter, words, and pain may hurt, but it is thoughts that leave the deepest scars.
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized This is incredible. With only five reviews, this one-shot definitely does not get enough attention. Heddy explores the depths of Ron's mind with serious undertones while Ron goes slightly mad during the battle at the Ministry in OoTP.

Story Name: Book 1, Effie's First Encounter at Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry
Author: rainfire3
Story Link: 12+
Genre: Mystery Action/Adventure
Length: Novel, Currently Three chapters
Ships:Harry/Ginny, Lucius/Narcissa, Draco/OC, OC/OC, Other Pairing
Rating: 12+ , scenes of mild sexual nature, contains spoilers
Story Summery:

A young witch with the most curious parentage, between an insain mother, and an evil father who she's never meet, being raised in an orphanage, Reaches her eleventh birthday in hopeless spirits, another birthday gone with out being adopted. When the owner of the orphanage gives her a package from her mother, and a letter from Hogwarts finds its way to her through an owl. Her life is about to take an interesting twist. As she arrives at Hogwarts she finds that there is a voice that no one but the strange Harry Potter can here and that hearing the voice seems to follow an attack.

Why do you think this story deserves to be recognized?: I think this story deserves to be recognized because it is very well written and has, so far, an interesting and unpredictable plot. I also think that it deserves recognition because it only has three reviews, one per chapter. It makes me sad to see a story like that have almost no reviews. I really want people to go read and review this story because it's good.

Story Name: Paper Hearts
Author Name: Giola
Story Link: {title here} Paper Hearts (M)
Genre: Romance, Drama, Fluff
Length: 11 chapters so far (WIP)
Ships: Draco/Astoria, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Other pairing
Rating (and applicable warnings): Mature, Strong Language, Scenes of Mild sexual nature, Sensitive topic/issue/theme, Substance Use or abuse
Story Summary: All I'd wanted was an interview with his mother. Somehow he'd managed to turn it into a deep and meaningful conversation that had absolutely nothing to do with my book or his mother.

He made me believe he actually had a heart.

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized This is an amazing story that is written very differently! It portrays Draco so well and overall it is so realistic! The entire story is just awesome and each chapter leaves you wanting for more!! This is a remarkable piece and totally deserves to be more recognized.

Story Name: Until We Close Our Eyes For Good

Author Name: Pixileanin

Story Link: Link here M

Genre:Drama, Romance, Action/Adventure

Length: Novel, currently 9 Chapters

Ships :Severus/OC

Rating: Mature, Strong Language, Strong Violence, Scenes of a Sexual Nature, Substance Use or Abuse, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme

Story Summary: A new take on Snape's secret lives before Voldemort's first demise and the Potter's Murder.
Snape struggles to find his way without losing his head or his soul.

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: Though this tale could be viewed as slightly AU, its take on Snape's efforts to bring down the Death Eaters is truly unique. Especially as it gives a very original angle on Snape's love life, prior to Lily's death. In addition, the new magical flourishes are superb - everything centers on Snape's efforts, under duress, to create a new potion methodology which could prove to be the Death Eater's ultimate weapon. This story is EXTREMELY underappreciated. If you love Snape and angst, this tale is without doubt a story you have to read!

Story Summary: Severus Snape's longing for Lily Evans leads him down a self-destructive path, and he discovers the many ways the past can come back to haunt you...
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized This is an amazing take on the Snape/ OC it is a WIP and I'm completely sucked in on this one. I find the premise very original (I read a lot of Snape/OC) and the story is very emotionally packed. Everyone should be reading it!

Story Name: Faith, Hope, and Charity (in particular, I nominate the third chapter (Charity)
Author Name: 1917farmgirl
Story Link: Here (12+)
Genre: General
Length: 3069 words (chapter 3 is 1029 words)
Ships: Remus/Tonks (chapter 1 only)
Rating (and applicable warnings): 12+ with Mild Language and Scenes of a Mild Sexual Nature
Story Summary:

In a world so often cruel and dark, moments of goodness and light can always be found. (Short collection of holiday stories.)

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: First of all, 1917farmgirl is an amazing author. Somehow, her stories always mange to pack an emotional punch. The three stories in this collection are all very moving and beautiful, and she ties each of them in with a Christmas-related story or theme. The first one is a touching moment between Remus and Tonks, the second one features Molly and the twins, and the third one features Draco with Luna and Ollivander. The third story in particular impressed me because even though I did start to feel sorry for Draco by the time the 6th book finished, I've never particularly liked him as a character. However, this story had me sympathizing fully with him and sort of rooting for him. It was very moving and sweet.

Story Name: How To Stop An Exploding Man
Author Name: Rose Wilts
Story Link: Here (15+)
Genre: Drama, General, Angst
Length: One-shot
Ships: N/A
Rating (and applicable warnings): Mild Violence
Story Summary:
“There is no good and evil, there is only power, and those too weak to seek it.” -- Lord Voldemort.
He was a bomb. He could feel it in his bones, building up. There was a pressure in his skull, under his skins, in limbs, in his very fingers. Tick, tick, tick. At any moment it could happen."
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: The story is amazing. Very amazing. It gives the reader a quick peek in Tom Riddle's mind and how it worked. This story changed the way I recognise Voldemort. Sure this story still portrays him as an evil person with his plans coming into mind but it will make you believe that there is a drop of kindness or two in Tom Riddle. Please kindly check it out. I really love the story and so will you! Posted Image

Story Name: Perfect Spiral
Author Name: SilentConfession
Story Link: Here (M)
Genre: General, Romance
Length: 1431 words (one-shot)
Ships: Other Pairing (Molly II/Lysander)
Rating (and applicable warnings): M with Strong Language, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme
Story Summary:

We had been perfect. So perfect. Everyone said perfect. Everyone knew. It was Molly and Lysander. Not Molly. Not Lysander. Both. We had a plan.
"Isn’t this what you wanted Lysander?” I cried his name again. “Lysander, tell me, am I so perfect now?”

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: Firstly, SilentConfession is an unknown jewel of an author. Her writing just blew me away. This fiction is my most favourite take on a horror!romance story, its personification and the amount of imagery! Every thing was detailed, not overly detailed but enough to create a whole movie in my mind. It shows how much such a small statement can turn a person all the way round, she explores it greatly. Its perfect. Pun intended. So I nominate this amazing story.

Disclaimer: I'm not sure if you count Dobby awards on the author or the story. This author has won won a Dobby, but not since 2009, and not for this story. This story only has seven reviews as of this moment.

Story Name: Sausages and Cookies
Author Name: momotwins
Story Link: Sausages and Cookies (12+)
Genre: General, Humor
Length: 2851 words
Ships: Teddy/Victoire
Rating (and applicable warnings): 12+ with Mild Language
Story Summary:

With Victoire sick in bed, it's up to Teddy Lupin to feed their children.

At least this he could manage. even if there were no vegetables to go with it. He wouldn't have to admit to his wife that he had fed the children nothing but cookies for dinner. They would have a proper dinner, and a dessert to boot.

Sausages and cookies.

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: The main reason is because it is funny and well-written. Teddy is so ridiculous in this story because he's completely hopeless in the kitchen. He can't control his kids, can't figure out how to put a meal on the table . . . it all gets rather funny, in part because it seems so plausible. This story fits in with momotwins' Midnight series of stories, though it is not necessary to be familiar with any of them in order to enjoy or understand this story.

Story Name: Harry Potter and The Legend of Serendis
Author Name: GoGoGrYfFiNdOrKs
Story Link: Here (m)
Genre: Action/Adventure, AU, Romance
Length: 35387 words
Ships: Harry/OC, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks
Rating (and applicable warnings): Mature - Mild Language, Strong Violence, Scenes of a Sexual Nature, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme
Story Summary: Everyone knows the story of Harry Potter. Or at least, they think they do. They remember the Sorcerer's Stone, Triwizard Tournament, and the final battle. But what they don't remember is a life without her. Ask any witch or wizard to tell you the truth and they will lie, albeit unintentionally. Because while time may heal all wounds, it also has the tendency to create new ones.
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: First of all, I love the writing style. even though the chapters are relatively short, they are so well written it just flows the reader from chapter to chapter. I'm not usually an OC as a main character fan, but in this story, I've been hooked from the start. GGGD was able to take a relatable character and thrust her into a world that she never thought she would belong in. I REALLY love this story so far and being only at 10 chapters, its gonna be great once the rest is up :D

Story Name: The Dragon Slayer's Story
Author Name: Alopex
Story Link: http://www.harrypott...hapterid=371273 (15+)
Genre: Humor, Angst
Length: One-shot
Ships: none
Rating (and applicable warnings): 15+ for Mild Language, Strong Violence, Substance Use or Abuse, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme
Story Summary:

Once, I was the best dragon slayer in all the land. I was a hero, until a Muggle boy usurped my rightful position. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and while I'm no innocent, neither was the boy. I leave you to judge whose crimes were greater.

[Written in response to Staff Challenge 3 ~ Entered in PrincessPadfoot's Minor Characters Matter Challenge]

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized It was such a unique story with just enough wit to make it funny and just enough emotion to make it serious at the same time! Alo balanced those two elements to the story perfectly. The whole plot is very interesting and stands out from other HPFF stories because it is about an obscure topic. Plus, it has dragons, and dragons are awesome (but that's not why I'm nominating it! It is, however, why I read it in the first place :P )! She writes the story in a way that it is mysterious, but slowly revealing, which captivated my attention. I also loved how she put a twist on stories outside of HPFF that most people know!

Story Summary: The girl living in his cellar was a ghost.
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized All right, so the number of Draco/Luna fics I had read before this was the very impressive number of zero. But... there's something about this that's just so beautiful. I don't even like reading about Draco in fanfic usually, and this won me over. It's the way it's written - it's got this beautiful imagery that just won't get out of your head. Gracefully written and totally intriguing, and I could definitely see this actually having happened. It's wonderful!

Story Name: The Dark of Night
Author Name: HarrietHopkirk
Story Link: Here (M)
Genre: Drama, Mystery, Angst
Length: 8 chapters so far, novel (33,535 words)
Ships: Rose/Scorpius
Rating (and applicable warnings): M for Mild Language, Scenes of a Sexual Nature, Substance Use or Abuse, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme, Contains Spoilers
Story Summary: Scorpius is destitute, left with a destructive family and memories of the night when everything went wrong. Albus is alone, quietly observing, harbouring secrets. Elodie is indifferent, flitting from life to life, rejecting and reforming everyone. Rose... Rose is perfect. A mixture of loathing and longing pulls them into the shadows, and they are all terrified. They are all terrified of the dark.
Dobby nominee 2011.

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized:
HarrietHopkirk is absolutely amazing at building up atmosphere and relationships. Of the few main characters, we see their motivations and overlapping schemes, and it all unravels perfectly! Her description is absolutely breath-taking; it conjures up the most wonderful images and senses; and it deserves more readers who hang off the edge of their seats at every update like I do :P

Story Name:
White Lie
Author Name: Ariellem
Story Link: here (M)
Genre: Humour, romance, young adult
Length: 15 chapters so far, novel, (38,942 words)
Ships: OC/OC, Harry/Ginny, Other Pairing
Rating (and applicable warnings): M for Strong Language, Strong Violence, Scenes of a Mild Sexual Nature, Substance Use or Abuse, Contains spoilers
Story Summary: Pen Clearwater is your average awkward sci-fi loving genius.

She has an ex-boyfriend who is asking her to pass her co-worker love notes. She has a lovable golden retriever whose alliance depends on bacon. She has a murderous little brother. She has a best friend with an insane mother…and she may have lied about her entire life to impress a guy.

Oh, don’t pretend like you’ve never done that before.

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: I think that Penelope/Oliver is highly under-written but Ariellem writes this ship so well! She's so brilliant at characterisation, and also at writing humour; Pen is such a loveable main character, and I love the evolution of her and Oliver's relationship :3

Story Name:
Growing Up Weasley
Author Name: TenthWeasley
Story Link: here (12+)
Genre: Fluff, General, Humour
Length: 8 chapters, short story collection,
Ships: Arthur/Molly
Rating (and applicable warnings): 12+ for Mild Violence
Story Summary: Inside every person is the child they used to be.
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized: TenthWeasley's set of one-shots based around the Weasley children is the cutest story I've read in a long time (maybe ever). She perfectly captures that childhood innocence and expectation, mixing it with beautiful descriptions that really put you in the moment, beside whichever child you're reading about. It's so gorgeous and really brings out your nostalgic side; plus it's so adorable reading about our favourite siblings at that age

Rating (and applicable warnings): 15+ Mild Language, Mild Violence, Scenes of a Mild Sexual Nature, Substance Use or Abuse, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme

Story Summary: You, Molly Weasley, have always been the quiet one, the hopeless romantic. You bury yourself in tales of chivalry, of handsome men wooing blushing maidens. You surround yourself with Mr Darcy, Romeo, d'Artagnan. Then you find another book, hidden in the Library, and suddenly you're seeing double.

When you're flitting between two realities, two lives - how do you decide which one should live?
Why you think this story deserves to be recognized

I don't think anyones ever been able to pull off writing a story so wonderfully in second person. Honestly, it's a delightful story which feels so smooth and easy to read that I'm incredibly jealous. The plot looks to be interesting and completely unique. It's an incredible start to what's surely going to be an amazing story :D

Severus/Lily

Why you think this story deserves to be recognized First off, after reading it a while ago, I still remember it as a good story, which means a lot since I go through a story or two a week, more or less depending on the length. I could really imagine what the author was saying, like the characters sitting in a dark room. It definitely satisfies my Snape/Lily brain (keep in mind, I hate romance and this isn't a romance fic). I like the action in it, and its a memorable read!
