Weeeell...this was a pretty wandering podcast.
On the plus side, though, the sound quality was excellently improved from the first two. I could hear everyone really clearly, which was nice.
Yay for Skype!
It didn't really seem like you guys had as much to talk about in this one, but I never knew that there was half a trolley stuck between platforms 9 and 10 at King's Cross! How neat.
But I had heard about people trying to run at the wall, which I find funny (though unfortunate for the people who were probably injured by it). It's true, what Alex said: there's this silly urge to do things like that, even though you know it's impossible.
After that discussion, it seemed like you guys kind of ran out of stuff to talk about and weren't into it so much anymore...but then it picked up a bit again with the story recommendations at the end and finished on a more upbeat note.

First off, I want to say that the sound quality was much better on this podcast. I could hear the voices clearly and I could make out what everyone was saying.
As for the podcast conversation, while it tended to meander quite a bit, I did find some things really funny. First off, the conversation about people running into the walls at platform 9 3/4 was really funny. I'm sure people have done it and I was just picturing what that would like to a random person watching this happen, what they must be thinking. I was also intrigued about this half sawed off trolley.
I also found the comment about Data being a futuristic Pinnochio to be really funny. There were some really funny little comments added in that made this entertaining to listen to!

YAY! For random stuff about mics at the beginning of the podcast. Snow Staff Members? I'd like to see that. It was amazing how long you all talked about Mt Everest and you're right. No one needs all their toes.
Favourite Parts:
Hmmmm we should probably find something to talk about.
I don't know, I'm foreign
Also all your maths skills amaze me. There was still heaps of talk about Star Trek (not necessarily a bad thing) Is it going to be like that for every episode?
The audio quality is much better in this episode. Also, in response to your question, "Give them Candy" is a great idea.

"The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour. The entire planet is hurtling around the sun at sixty seven thousand miles an hour. And I can feel it. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world. And, if we let go..."

Okay, I'm mildly concerned that you had to resort to cannibalism while on your trip to Mt Everest, and very relieved that everyone survived – "more or less". (What exactly does that mean?) And you know, I've heard that eyebrows might evolve out of existence before, but I have NO idea where that idea came from because they serve a purpose and things only evolve out of existence if they no longer have a function. Anyway. Random rant and I'll shut up now.
I love the idea of a pile of HPFF-ers descending upon Kings Cross Station on September 1st 2016 to try to stop people from going through the barriers. I must Google that half-trolley in the wall at the station though – I'd love to see that. When I was last at Kings Cross the HP phenomenon hadn't really taken off so much adn to be frank I didn't even think to look for platform 9 ¾.
But Alex? You most certainly do NOT have an English accent. I would never pick you as anything but a North American. Sorry if that disappoints you.
Hmm. What can you do to get people interested in the podcasts? Make reviewing them worth points for the House Cup! Oh, wait, you've done that, haven't you? Hahaha. Seriously, though, I never listened to the podcasts before aside from the odd Story Seekers and never did I realise what I was missing out on. They're great! So, in other words, you need to give people an incentive to get them started. Once they've started, they'll probably keep going. Just my thoughts anyway.
I drifted off with the discussion about Skype, I admit – I don't have it, and am unlikely to get it due to how I am told it uses bandwidth. Not that I'm opposed, but my husband isn't keen, and as he pays the internet bills I won't push it. And it didn't really feel very relevant to the podcast anyway, aside from that being how it was recorded, though you get people going on tangents all the time so it's not a complaint, more a comment as to why I didn't pay much attention.
I did quite enjoy the story discussion, though – probably related to my only having listened to Story Seekers before the House Cup! Though I agree with Alex's idea about not recommending things that are offsite – "Welcome to HPFF, now look elsewhere!" LOL. Fortunately I wasn't listening to this one on public transport so I didn't have to worry so much about having people look strangely at me.
The sound quality of this one was so much better than the last two and it felt more like the staff chats that are released now. I really enjoyed it. Good job!

I would have loved to see some snow staff members. And I am jealous that you all went to mount Everest, even if you almost resorted to cannabalism by nibbling on peoples toes.
I loved the toastaphon!
and I loved how you done Harry Potter maths to work out that 19 years later is in the future.
I plan on hanging there to stop people getting through the barrier.
"there's nothing like a good concussion" haha best line!
I think we should get toast, butter and candy for our podcasts, or should I say Margarine.
I would love some merchandis and to see a carrot on a stick.
Woo congratulations to the new validators, I love how you say "EVA!"
And you are all making me want to get Skype so I can join chats (even though I am not a staff member, maybe I'll use an invisibility cloak)
I wonder what Alex did edit out?
This was a great podcast and I thoroughly enjoyed it, your chats sound so easy and flow so easily together.
I also love the lifeform song at the end hehe
